Duchesne High Community,
On Thursday, January 15, 2026, Duchesne High School will be hosting the 2026 Region Drill Team Championships. This event will bring six drill teams, along with their coaches, families, fans, and judges, to the school beginning at 12:00pm. In order to facilitate this event, that day will be a Friday schedule with classes ending at 12:35pm, and students being dismissed from school at that time. Lunch will be served just as it is on Friday. This schedule will only apply to Duchesne High School, not Duchesne Elementary. Therefore, buses will run at the normally scheduled times. Any students who need to ride the buses home will be provided with learning opportunities and activities while they wait for the buses.

Just a reminder that the Duchesne High School “Eagle Pantry” is available again this year. This resource provides basic, staple food items, and non-perishable foods as well as basic hygiene and household products (shampoo, deodorant, dish soap, toilet paper etc.) The “Eagle Pantry” is open to any student and their families who may benefit from this service. The pantry is open to students everyday and to families on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-3:30pm. If you need to use the pantry, please come to the front office and you will be directed to the right location. With the up coming Winter break, we want to make sure that our students have adequate food and essentials. If you are in need and can not come during the available hours, please contact Principal Gatherum.

Thank you the the many generous individuals who have donated items to help make this resource available. Your support is greatly appreciated.
